How we use your data
Your data is used to provide the translation service, manage your account balance, and send transaction confirmations.
Third-party services
- Hanc.AI — processes voice data for real-time translation (sub-processor)
- Clerk — manages authentication
- Supabase — stores account and session data
- Paddle — processes payments (Merchant of Record)
- Resend — sends transactional emails
- Google Analytics — anonymized usage statistics (only with your consent)
Cookies & Data Protocols
We use essential cookies for authentication (Clerk) and session management (Supabase). With your consent, we also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and error tracking (Sentry) to improve service quality. You can manage your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link in the page footer.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Wallet screen. Contact us at privacy@picar.app for data access requests.
Voice data
Voice data is processed in real-time by Hanc.AI for translation purposes. No voice recordings are stored by our application.
